ABOUT MERT

Mert Kalem is a London-based photographer, videographer and content creator. Throughout his education and work life in Architectural Design, Mert dived into photography and filmmaking. After working as a freelancer for 3 years and accomplishing his own style with his photo and video work in time, Mert’s social media platforms grew, new and exciting opportunities began to unfold, and he quickly realised that his passion had become his livelihood.

Mert draws much of his inspiration for his visual pieces from architecture, design and traveling distant locales. With the propensity to pick up the camera and capture the world at a moment’s notice, his lust for creating pushes his perspective and vision.

He appreciates the raw reality of everyday life, the fleeting beauty of those in-between moments, and do his very best to capture every moment with that in mind. He wants his viewers to relate to his content, to be able to connect and to feel the motion in his visuals so that they feel as though they are a part of a different experience.
